It's the end of July and looking at the news last week surrounding Apple and Wall Street and one could think that the investors are just being greedy. What we're seeing is why guidance, the method of providing where a company expects to be at the end of the accounting work for the quarter, and how the analysts interpret that is much like the sports oddsmakers predicting who will win the SuperBowl. And, when Apple outperforms on revenue but says that sales of iPhones will slow down, the company gets dinged after turning a massive profit.
What people need to realize is all of the iPhones out there KEEP bringing in money to Apple. First there's AppleCare, the add on warranty that used to be warranties that were sold by the mobile operators and third party companies. Has anyone looked at the money that is now going in the direction of Apple and not AT&T or Verizon?
Then there's the revenue for apps sales and content sales in the App Store and iTunes Store. Apple gets 1/3 roughly of all the money that comes through the stores and that's recurring revenue. The fall brings new television programs and more movies, so all those prior buyers of iPads and iPhones, not to mention those who consume content on their PCs (Macs and Windows) are also going to be spending again.
Then there's the Apple Watch. It's the first edition, so it's more like the first iPod or iPhone or even iPad. Just the start. If you look back at how Apple innovates on top of their innovation, and how the sales of each successive model rises you'll begin to question the analysts reaction.
This is especially obvious in light of what comes next with the Apple Watch. It's called MASS MARKET.

Slack and your Google Calendar are now able to be linked. This means when a new item is added, you can notify yourself or others. The big feature is if you create team calendars for projects, add todo's the calendar and need to track everything in one place. This also means that as your calendar items "pop-up" they are also alerting you via Slack.
