This is a huge move that will likely pay dividends in 2009, as Lenovo and AT&T, along with Ericsson are joining together to cut the cost of embedded 3G cards in laptops.
I expect that this deal will likely be replicated by the likes of Samsung, Asus and Acer as well as see AT&T begin to get very aggressive in the marketing of the 3G dongles, just like we're seeing from Vodafone and three in the UK, TIM in Italy and SFR and Orange in France.
