Sharon A. O'Leary Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for Vonage has reportedly turned in her resignation today. After all the battling she's done with the likes of Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and many others she's calling it a day I hear.
Constant legal work with no visibility into when it will stop, declining product, weak morale, ..., wouldn't you quit?
It is time for them to repackage themselves and remove what has ailed them over the last 3 years. Focus outside the core of their business and relook the world. There is something out there they can stick their teeth into.
If they don't, they'll eventually go under, get bought, or completely collapse.
Isn't this the "chief strategists" job? Probably too focused on the lawsuits and from her departure, he's about to get double the focus.
