The folks at Fring raised 12 million, which is a good thing to hear in some regards as it continues to validate the belief by many that voice over the data networks of mobile operators will eventually happen.
But I'm more impressed with how they have reportedly improved their audio quality and just how great it sounds over 3G.
That's good to see. Fring and others such as Wifimobile have spent years in developing and gradually improving aspects in their VoIP client. Well done Fring!
