Both Rich Tehrani and I have been very vocal online about hotel Internet connections and the need for better bandwidth management, allocation of access points for WiFi and overall a more consistent approach between properties to avoid a less than true broadband experience for guests.
This story in Hotel and Motel Management points to some of the concerns.
Mostly it's how much pipe (bandwidth) and where the access points are placed that matters most. Then comes the plumbing (routers) that help keep everything flowing.
