If you looking for love at a Tech Conference, forget it. Ken Camp has picked up on the same observation I made last VON that the ladies are disproportionately out of balance at more than VoIP conferences.
All I know is this is counter to the way I was raised, which is why I was saddened when I heard my friend and neighbor Ellen Kirk was leaving Tropos this past week. She found love, in New Orleans of all places and living in Del Mar, working in Silicon Valley and heading back and forth to the Big Easy, so something had to give, and it was Tropos. That's sad as she was one of the more interesting people to talk with at MuniWireless. I'm hoping she finds a way to stay in our world, as well as be part of the rebirth of NOLA.
