Om has done his usual laserscopic surgery on a new start-up. Jangl. Being one himself now, that also has VC money, means he's drinking the kool-aid and having to practice what he preaches to the many millions of GigaOm readers.
He gives props to client iotum, labeling them the Swiss Army knife of presence...nice. iotum is poised for growth, and they are making the most of being based in Ottawa, Ontario. If they were a Valley based company, VC's who are geographic phobic would be all over them...they've already won some customers over and as I pointed out in my post yesterday about PhoneGnome, users of that can use iotum today.
