Joi's Disconnected

Joi Ito suffered through a long trip where he was disconnected, despite being on a flight and in an airport that were both supposed to provide WiFi.

I don't see how his Macintosh was the issue at Frankfurt's airport. I was able to log on there but did have issues with VoIP. With the Boeing Connexion service there was nothing worse than being up in the air and losing the service in mid-flight. That happened to me on the flight to Europe back in November.
