Telnet Introduces Seamless Data Roaming In Belguim

Now this is a the kind of thing that gets my heart racing and wishing we had something like this here in the good old USA.

Using a PCMCIA or Express34 card you can roam between all kinds of wireless networks regardless of flavor via one operator.

So how would we do it here? Easy as 1, 2 and 3.

1. Take Helio for the wide area mobile world

2. Add in Boingo for roaming locations

3. Mix in Earthlink with their WiFi phone router in the home office

Voila...oh, that's a CDMA solution? Well try this..

1. Take T-Mobile or Cingular for GSM

2. Add in Boingo for the hotspot roaming locations, or T-Mobile or AT&T's Freedom Link

3. Mix in any WiFi router at your home and office...

Voila...

Too darn easy...except for the politics and corporate issues...
