Broadband From The Skies Promises VoIP

One of the problems with most of the consumer satellite broadband offerings has been the issue of latency. Well it sounds like Europe and the UK will be the first to experience a new form of Satellite broadband that's good enough for streaming media and VoIP.

The service called Tooway is due to roll out later this year and promises speeds up to 10 megabytes. The service from Eutelsat promises to roll out next week, with 2 megabytes of speed initially.
