Skype Adds Xobni Integration

According to my sources the first choice of which IM client for XOBNI to integrate with was Skype hands down as Skype was far and away the most used Instant Messaging platform that the XOBNI users are on. Unfortunately with no Mac version in sight, I can only drool over pal Jeff Bonforte's company's email add-on for Outlook.

Skype user usage of XOBNI was three times greater than AOL's IM, which speaks volumes as to how far the mighty AOL has fallen, so this launch tells me that come 2009 there will be far more integration and some slicker features coming as part of the plug in play from the two.

From what I also heard today at the Open Mobile Summit, the speculation is that Skype will be doing many new things in the first few months of the year as well beyond the Inbox.
