Mr. Carrier: Did You Block VoIP?

CrunchGear reports that the European Union is looking into the operations of the mobile carriers to see if they blocked VoIP over their networks.

The expected end result is, "you can't do that Mr. Carrier." This would be excellent news for the mobile VoIP players like client Truphone or others whose service works very well over 3G.
