XOHM Residential Gateway to Get VoIP Ports Soon

I saw the folks from ZyXel yesterday in Baltimore during the launch of XOHM. One of the things they pointed out to me was that the next generation of the XOHM Residential Gateway that they produce will have VoIP ports on the back. This means smart hosted IP-PBX providers should be thinking of peering with both Sprint and XOHM to provide a great QoS and to insure full feature delivery.

XOHM CEO Barry West pointed out that XOHM plans to support VoIP higher up in the stack that simply Skype, which he said was down lower in the stack, implying that there's more there for Voice community.
