SPAM, SPIT AND NOW SKUM

It looks like the evil geniuses who love to bait unsuspecting users have found ways around the Skype security platform and are now affecting users of Skype according to CNET's NEWS.com.

I've decided to call it SKUUM for SKYPE UNWANTED/UNAPPROVED MESSAGING

Now what we need from Skype is some UNSKUUM to prevent it.

Andy, the "evil geniuses" didn't have to look very far to find a way around Skype "security" - the Skype Cheerleading Squad (a.k.a. The Skype Journal) published detailed instructions on how to set up a SPIM (Spam over IM) empire in March 2008.

Skype is not likely to do anything about these spammers and pornographers, because the thousands of new Skype accounts they create every day contribute the lion's share of the massively inflated "339 million user accounts" that Skype constantly brags about.
