    Why I Hate Free WiFi

I'm a Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and I can't use a lot of programs on my Mac to connect to cloud based services like my Gmail account using MailPlane (but I can get to the mail via the browser or Apple Mail.)

Eyebeam from Counterpath won't get around the ports that are likely blocked, but SightSpeed does. This meant I couldn't do some configuration changes to some hardware remotely.

Give me Boingo or T-Mobile any day...and the bill. Funny. I could do everything I needed to at London's Heathrow Airport in the Virgin Clubhouse on Monday around my tasty lunch, and nifty haircut. Those were free, and Virgin tossed in WiFi access to... But they PAY T-Mobile for the access.
