I’m on iSkoot’s marketing team, and just wanted to clarify that while we enjoy a rich partnership with Skype, we did not collaborate on this particular project. With regard to Skype’s announcement yesterday about launching a beta mobile offering, we’re proud to be partners with Skype, and we’re thrilled about the great success that we’ve both enjoyed from the iSkoot-powered 3 Skypephone. The launch of Skype’s beta mobile client is a powerful validation that the mobile VoIP category is thriving—and certainly, the opportunities for further growth are tremendous. This is also a clear win-win for consumers, who are eagerly embracing the benefits of using mobile VoIP as the perfect complement to their on-the-go lifestyles.
