Schedule That Meeting When? Just Slip Me Some Tungle!

Over the last few months we've been hard at work with a semi-stealthy project at my agency with a client whose founder came out of a competitor of a former client who knew me from this blog and my work with a former client, Popular Telephony.

The client, Tungle, was founded by Marc Gingras. Gingras previously was with Popular Telephony's arch competitor NIMCAT who were bought by Avaya, hence the VoIP connection.

    Got the background? Good.

I've also been watching Tungle since their DEMO God winning performance at DEMO and then again at Office 2.0. Back then the product wasn't ready for prime time, and they weren't ready for real attention. Now they are and it seems the blogosphere is taking notice. Already TechCrunch, WebWare, MapleLeaf 2.0, Alec Saunders and others are chiming in with their perspective and opinions.

Basically Tungle makes it simple and easy to book meetings for yourself or for others and is a dream for group scheduling. With more people constantly needing help with time management Tungle will quickly be the chosen solution to make scheduling issues a thing of the past in a world that's only getting busier.

Update: VC Rick Segal has neat post last year on why they invested in Tungle. It speaks well to how on track the company is when you compare his post with the current stories.

StartUp North has a post also.
