Return of The Newton?

Apple always generates rumors and manages the rumor mill better than any company around. The tech world's fascination with Apple further propels those rumors and creates lots of hype for what ends up being something real in the future.

That's why I look at this post with some degree of seriousness. Apple dropped their 12 inch Mac Book about two years ago, when the current Intel platform models came out. That small form factor has always been a hit with road warriors and Apple has not filled the gap which is why this MacLoop rumor is so interesting.

Apple already has the technology to link both the cloud and their desktop. A device like this seems to be the on the go product (similar to a Nokia N810).
