I'm sensing a renewed interest in the world of IT about Fixed Mobile Convergence based upon the growing interest in the concept of one phone that works both over Circuit Switched networks and IP ones.
Today's Australian IT has a nice interview with an Ericsson executive and the comments, along with some other reading I've done of late seem to point to the growing focus on the Enterprise market as the first place FMC will really take hold.
