Cheaper SMS Via Skype

I've been using various desktop tools on the Macintosh that let me send "free" SMS from my laptop, but I haven't really found a workable solution to sending and receiving from a personal computer.

It seems Skype has not either, as the reply has to go back to your mobile phone.

Candidly, this may be a good solution for "Sending" but since I use both a Nokia E61i and a Blackberry these days both are far better for sending the SMS as they also receive.

While I like the idea of SMS from Skype, this is too clunky of a solution in my book.
