Thanks for the write up Andy.

Irwin, your comments regarding free service are valid, if the customer does not care about anything other than cost per minute.

Fortunately for Gaboogie, companies that are serious about reducing hands-on hassle are saving money in the time it takes to schedule and manage conference calls. They are not focused solely on the price per minute.

The $3B audio conferencing industry is growing. The majority of the revenue is coming from larger organizations where time management is more important.

When we were building our business plan the research clearly outlined the reasons to avoid building a business around loop holes in state law that could change at any moment. I think AT&T is likely to agree, not that I agree with the bullying approach they have taken in this matter.

As for our rate plans, if you compare our rates to the rest of the industry (freebies aside) you will find we are very competitive at the higher minute packages.

Anytime you would like a demo just send me an email: erik@gaboogie.com or take advantage of the free 100 minutes you get when signing up and Gaboogie me: 1.604.629.7991, it won't cost you a dime.

Andy, interesting post, but the service is rediculously expensive. A ten person conference call lasting an hour would cost 600 "gaboogie" minutes, or close to $70.00 based on their published rate plans.

Compare that with freeconferencecall.com and I don't see how this service succeeds.
