VP, Marketing
Vapps is seeking an experienced direct and channel marketer to manage the launch and execution of marketing programs for Vapps inbound sales channel to meet acquisition and retention goals. This individual will utilize project management skills to plan, schedule, monitor resources & deadlines for major marketing projects while promote an environment that supports customer experience & complete project planning.
This position will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for driving new customer acquisition growth and customer retention efforts across our suite of SMB products.
This position will work closely with existing and new online media partners, including search engines, portals, IM clients(Skype, Yahoo!, etc…) and vertical sites, to set up new advertising campaigns, drive traffic, oversee creative, monitor and analyze reports, and optimize landing page and campaign performance with the goal of acquiring and retaining online customers.
The Vice President, Marketing will interface with all media partners on a daily basis, and is responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships. This individual will also be responsible for the development and enhancement of the company’s advertising programs.
The Vice President, Marketing will work closely and collaboratively with team members within the organization and other internal departments, including Product Management, Telecoms and R&D.
Responsibilities include:
Day-to-day management of all of the company’s online and partner strategic marketing programs.
Day-to-day management of the company’s search engine, IM and vertical partners, including:
Banner ad trafficking using: Campaign planning and management, A/B variability testing, full campaign analysis, ROI optimization and reporting
Banner and landing page creative development, testing, tracking and conversion optimization
Create and implement aggressive internal database marketing and customer retentions efforts.
Expertise on internal and 3rd party ad serving and tracking tools
Management of all tactical client communications
Quality assurance and accounting reconciliation
Qualifications include:
5+ years of Direct Marketing Experience, B2B experience in online marketing, campaign development and management, customer acquisition and retention.
Negotiation, account development and management skills
Disciplined, data-driven decision-making
BA with 2-4 years online marketing experience preferred
Other Required Skills:

Superior team skills with proven ability to collaborate successfully
