PhoneBoy To My Rescue

With all the traveling I've got planned to get my wedding next July in order I've decided to switch to the Nokia E61 I purchased last spring. Nokia has a great database of software and Dameon, one of their premiere Level 3 support team members has access to it.

He was kind enough to get my E61 all updated, and also got TruPhone working. I'll use a French SIM in that one, as my wedding party is in France, while the actual wedding is in San Francisco for friends and family reasons. My hotel in France has Broadband so I'll be connected, and the travel router, plus the browser means if I'm in a hotspot I'll have WiFi access to SIP Calls.

Stay tuned and I'll keep you updated on how well all this works whenever my next trip to France is, but more importantly, once I get the phone back, to let you know how it works.
