San Jose Mercury News Profiles New Companies

The San Jose Mercury News' Constance Loizos has a very good roundup of some of the new companies playing in the VoIP space with next generation services and applications.

I'm sure there are other companies just bubbling under the radar who have as interesting or better technology stories with consumer and business application coming to market as well.

Like so many companies that are now being formed, many of which are in stealth or beta mode, they use of IP to deliver new features and services are the result of what some would call technology mash-ups to solve everyday problems.
