Jeff Ever Hopeful About The FCC

The last VON event in San Jose the FCC was noticably absent. Now through some soft shoe work Jeff and the team at Pulver are working hard to ingratiate themselves once again with Chairman Martin and others.

It's called detente, and Jeff has been VoIP's lead ambassador to the FCC for many years. But now with Kevin Martin in the chairman's role, that calling card seemed to wear thin, not because Jeff wasn't the right ambassador, but because Martin's vision was aimed at the big telcos and MSO's not the start ups and supply chain types who really make up the large population at Pulver events.

With most of the consolidation behind him, Martin is able to look at where the roadmap is going, not so much where it's been, so it's not surprising that VON will soon be back in vogue at the FCC. (Even though we all know it never really left, but I'm an FOJ-friend of Jeff's)
