Om To Do His Thing

To me this is old news, for my dear friend Om Malik had confided this to me weeks ago over one of our regular coffees and telephone chats. He's been looking at options for a while, considering his next move. Everyone with any ambition always does. Of course, being his friend also meant that I kept this news to myself and didn't share it with anyone until the story broke.

It was no easy decision for him, and while some of the other opportunities didn't exactly fit, this move did. You see, at a point in time you have to ask yourself, "can you do it?" It's not an easy decision to venture out on your own, but Om is going to, and like his VC backers, and more importantly as his friend I'll support that decision every way I can.
