Not so simple. Recently I spoke to a Mktg person at one of the airlines, about promoting our VoIP service. She said that they have had complaints from business customers about the associated noise - and while they will not block it, they don't want to annoy their very profitable business customers. Who will be the first airline to introduce a No Voiping section??

Airlines are trying to increase there business with the help of VoIP services on board. Right now bidding for frequencies is under way. Its reaaly great news for frequent fliers as they can use VoIP Phones on board as mobile phones cannot work.
Compare VoIP and PSTN
