    Craig Walker Helping The Homeless

Former DialPad CEO, and pal, Craig Walker is helping the San Francisco homeless get back on their feet with his new venture backed Grand Central Communications company.

Rather than just be another VoIP play, Walker and his team are starting out by providing free voice mail accounts to the San Francisco shelters' homeless population so when those who are trying to get back on their feet apply for jobs the phone number they use isn't the shelter's or mission's main line.

Later in the year Walker and company will roll out what Grand Central is really all about, but you can bet one thing for sure, it will be something different.
