    VoIP Quality Testing

BandWidth.com has rolled out their Broadband VoIP quality tester to help end users determine if they've got the network in place to handle a quality voice over Internet service.

I an it and was not surprised to see my latency running at .214 milliseconds (fifty os considered excellent) which is deemed poor. I've been forever questioning not the download speeds of Cox Communications' Cable Broadband service, but their network transport. This test helps validate that they have issues.

But all of that said, a Home Run Club member from Atlanta has told me to not trust the results, citing their use of TCP, not UDP.
