While rumors about Teleo being bought by Microsoft swirl, one move made was the agreement by the worlds biggest software maker was to license the Global IP Sound Codec.
So why do they need to buy Teleo if they have the guts of it and an already existing Messenger product?

One has to realize that SIP is already part of Windows XP, and while not yet a part of MSN Messenger, it is a part of Windows Messenger.
