I'm moderating another Bloggers Only Panel at VON this September in Boston and starting to get excited about it.
While the list is not yet complete, the line up reads like the "Dream Team," "Murders Row" and an All Star line up in Baseball, where everyone is Ted Williams at the plate when it comes to knocking the news out of the park as well as hitting for average in the blogosphere.
Lead off from the Indians is Aswath Rao. The engineer turned blogger has a keen eye and knows when to swing, and is known to cause the opposition fits.
Up next is Martin Geddes, coming all the way from the UK where the Royals seem to play. Geddes quick wit and uncanny nack to get on base makes him a perfect number two in the batting order.
In third slot is VoIP's Yankee Jeff Pulver though I some times think those folks in The National's yard down in D.C want to say "Yankee Go Home" more since the Poweller Shift always seems to apply when Pulver's at the plate these days. One always wants the guy who knows how to move the runners along third in the batting order, and that's Jeff. While he may not always hit for average, Pulver finds a way to drive the runners in and as the team's veteran, he's clearly the home run leader for Team VoIPBlog to date.
Our fourth batter is the sultan of swat and another Indian, Om Malik. Of late Malik has been on fire knocking those high hanging curve balls of rumors out of the park. His ability to deal with screwballs is also an added plus to the line up and his long running daily hitting streak shows this guy is all business too when he's playing.
Mark Evans, from Toronto brings a multi-sports flair to the line up. Being in BlueJay land, Evans northerly perch has the opposition in fits with his fast fingers and speed making him ideal as the fifth tick in the order.
The sixth batter is Stuart Henshall. Originally with Unbound Spiral, his off season trade to SkypeJournal where he serves as player-coach makes him an A all the way.
Oh, and being from San Diego, and constantly reading and hearing all these guys confessions, I can only be a Padre but somehow I feel, I'll have to keep the religious aspects of technology out of the conversation this September, otherwise I'll just have to be like the former Philly neighbor to my dad, Mr. October, and come out swinging for the fences.
