Before yesterday's post, on Friday Om got Vonage to say it was a software glitch. Last summer Om referred to a Vonage outage where the company cited that Global Crossing was the culprit. I recall getting the same comment from Vonage PR and posting on it too.
Outages are nothing new but it's funny to see how the carriers and service providers get on each other about these issues rather than work to solve them.
The second time around Vonage calls it an upgrade glitch. First they blame others, now they blame it on the software, likely provided by others.
I wish they would take the blame themselves, but since they don't own their own network how can they?
