Belkin Enters VoIP Game

Targeting the International market which wants USA based phone numbers, hardware manufacturer Belkin has rolled out a SoftPhone based service, callEverywhere with price plans as low as $9.95 and an all you can talk for $19.95.

No details on who the underlying carrier is that is supplying the service, but we are starting to see the driving down of price as new entrants enter the game.

Yesterday in a conversation with an high ranking executive of one of the larger brands I said we are heading towards the $19.95 price point sooner than we all think and it will end up at $9.99 plus services, not the current bundles as the only way to be priced. Seems I was on the money.
