Packet 8 has signed an agreement with a MLM that also offers Broadvox and Delta Three's iConnectHere service.
MLM's are what first built MCI. It seems that many of the VoIP carriers are looking at this alternative means of selling in their services due to the agents already having solid customer relationships.
In the case of this group, they claim 150,000 agents. Figuring a five percent first line uptake that would immediately mean 7500 new customer to Packet 8. If each of those agents could make two sales downline or to customers it would mean another 15000, all of which should happen within 45 days of the announcement. Should that happen the growth for Packet 8 would be exponential in theory month after month. Being they are a public company we should see some idea of just how successful the MLM approach for VoIP providers can be.
All of that said, if I'm BroadVox I'm not happy. The early adopters within the MLM may opt to switch because loyalty in the early adopter market is not very strong..
please help i have your service and i am getting pissed for the past month i get ghost call about a half of an ring i have called and i am being told that they are working on it
after almost 20 working days later they are still working on it do i get some kind of credit or am i suppose to pay for problems too

Being a '''Card Carrying Cognigen Agent'', from day one with Kevin Anderson and Cognigen, I beleive I am ''qualified'' to comment on this Cognigen news! You are probably WAY too high---maybe 1% are truly ACTIVE so maybe a 1500 NEW Box Sales for Packet8 in next 60 days but still, its 1500 NEW Box Sells--------VOIP wont ramp imho till Comcast and COX say its ""TIME TO RAMP""
