VON in Boston isn't even a memory and it looks like the Spring VON will be even hotter. Already Jeff Pulver is saying it's almost sold out.
This years is in San Jose. Maybe Jeff needs to starting thinking Las Vegas or L.A. where the convention centers are even bigger. That said, San Jose is a great place for the conference. WiFi, lots of Broadband. Easy to get around and a very good airport.
I always felt that when a show moved from San Jose to Las Angeles it lost something in the process. Having experienced this first hand as an end user, I do not want to repeat this, if this can be avoided.
I'm committed to producing VON in San Jose in both 2005 and 2006 and I would like to stay in Boston in 2006.
It does seem that we are growing faster than the exhibit space we have allocated for ourselves can deal with. This is a good problem to have. :-)
It is early to say for certain, but it looks as if the total size of the Spring 2005 VON community in San Jose will be close to double what we had in Santa Clara at Spring 2004 VON.
