Why AT&T Needs A SoftPhone

I can't say it enough. CallVantage has the best service, but their lack of a softphone is a setback in many ways.

Now that more of the WiFi networks are looking at VoIP, the softphone on a laptop is the way to go. Today Boingo and Vonage did the mating dance. Since I predict Boingo will end up with Sprint and Earthlink in some manner, and since Earthlink already relabels Vonage, this is not that much of a surprise......but shows a seblance of the companies all maturing and thinking down the road.

I signed up for CV last week and am expecting my box this week... number switches over in a week.

I'm hopeful that a softphone is coming soon - like November when it's been hinted some good things were coming.
