    AT&T and Linksys Announce TA's

As I'm on the road I have yet to see the link for this announcement. It's one that shows commitment to their plan. In marketing we say "plan your work and work your plan." This is one more example of CallVantage staying on track with their hardware roadmap.

My view is simple. Linksys makes great products. CallVantage is a great service. It's a perfect marriage.

Linksys to Deliver New Home Networking Options for
    AT&T CallVantage Service

Wired and Wireless VoIP Devices Simplify and Enhance
Home Networking and Broadband Phone Service

FOR RELEASE: MONDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2004

BEDMINSTER, N.J. and IRVINE, CA- AT&T and Linksys®, a division of Cisco
Systems, Inc., today announced the offering of new Voice Over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) devices that combine the capabilities of a wired or
wireless router with an analog telephone adapter (ATA), giving AT&T
CallVantageSM Service customers simplified options for their VoIP home
    networking needs.

The new AT&T CallVantage Service Certified Linksys equipment consist of
a Wired Router with 2 Phone Ports and a Wireless-G Router 2 phone
ports, which will be available in retail outlets by the end of October.

These new devices help eliminate the need for multiple devices for
broadband telephony and computer networking when a user wants both. In these
situations, these devices make it easier and more economical to set-up
    AT&T's broadband phone service solution.

"Users can be assured that Linksys phone adapters have been rigorously
tested and certified with AT&T CallVantage Service to deliver the
highest VoIP quality connectivity available in the home networking
environment," said Charlie Giancarlo, Cisco-Linksys president. "Our leadership
in wired and wireless home networking products combined with AT&T's
innovative and feature-rich broadband phone service is a winning
    combination for consumers."

The "all-in-one" wired or wireless routers with voice, not only network
multiple computers in the home, but also allow consumers to talk over
their high-speed Internet connection utilizing their standard phones to
call anyone in the world. About the size of a paperback book, these
routers with voice over IP capabilities connect computers and ordinary
phones to broadband cable or digital subscriber line (DSL) modems to
deliver fully integrated networked solutions complete with broadband phone
    service.

"We look forward to delivering AT&T CallVantage Service Certified
Linksys wired and wireless routers with voice to our growing ranks of
customers," said Cathy Martine, AT&T senior vice president for Internet
Telephony. "Linksys is one of the most recognizable and respected brands
in home networking. Working together, we'll provide households with the
ability to quickly and efficiently optimize their communications and
    home networking needs."

Linksys, a charter member of the AT&T VoIP Innovation and
Interoperability Program (VIIP), worked closely with AT&T to design wired and
wireless routers with voice capabilities that are compatible and certified
to work with AT&T CallVantage Service. The AT&T program is designed to
stimulate and foster the development, delivery and adoption of new
applications, capabilities and devices to serve the needs of businesses and
consumers utilizing AT&T's vast VoIP portfolio of services.

AT&T CallVantage Service customers will be able to choose a Linksys
Wired Router with 2 Phone Ports or the Linksys Wireless-G Router with 2
Phone Ports. The Wired router with voice is now available through AT&T .
Both the Wired and Wireless routers will be available at the end of
October through AT&T participating retail outlets.

AT&T CallVantage Service is available to any U.S. consumer and provides
a local footprint to 62 percent of the households in America due to its
broad penetration in more than 170 markets coast-to-coast.
