VoIPNuke's Keith tipped me off to Verizon offering a bundle.
I keep thinking that Verizon is going to offer a pure triple play with video sometime soon.
Do the cable companies have to start looking at the telcos as a serious threat. YUP.
All it will take is for Verizon to sign The Yes Network in New York and watch the whole world change.

That's all fine and great, but what about the ~$30 /month you still have to pay for POTS to get the DSL. Or is VZ going to offer "naked" DSL?

Amazing mind-meld Andy! In both our blog entries, we came to almost the same exact conclusion that Verizon needs to offer a triple play (add video).

Andy: How in the world can Verizon offer video? I have a 3mps download from my cable provider and it would take forever to download an episode of friends. What am I missing? Wouldnt the Bells need to have fiber like speed to deliver video up to par with cable or sat?
