Om Malik on his newly relaunched VoIPDaily has a note about Lingo offering 7 digit dialing.
The key is if it recignizes caller ID for call return. That's a pet peeve I have with many of the VoIP carriers. I can call the long distance caller back, but the local person in my area code, trying to call them back means punching their buttons.
10 digit dialing is a pet-peeve of mine as well. I blogged Lingo's announcment about 7-digit dialing this morning.
Lingo offers 7 digit dialing
As I send in my VoIP blog, I hope the other VoIP providers follow suit.

NY and PA have 10 digit for local calls... one of those things man. I actually have to do 11 digit here in NYC locally. I am currently with Verizon for home use... my expectation for VOIP would be the same which so far it is - at least with Vonage.
