    OfCom Gets VoIP Regulation Right

The British Office of Communications has taken the first step towards making VoIP more mainstream.

Eurotelcoblogger James Enck has some insight on the development as well.

The key is that the establishment of a new area code in the UK, the ability to localize a number and the creation of "999" for emergency services.

Perhaps the FCC wants to read this document too which is designed to make VoIP more easier to understand.
